Local Summer Camp (Jul 15 - Aug 24)
Full Day Camps Suitable For 7 Years+ (Early Bird Before May 5)
Mulberry House is taking students to join local camps with Chinese students in Shanghai and Shenzhen. Students will soak in plenty of Chinese language and culture, while learning about architecture, design, sustainability, Chinese painting, Chinese calligraphy and coding. Don’t miss this exciting summer camp!
Shenzhen Weekday Camp (Jul 15-Aug 17)
The perfect camp for students who loves art and coding. We have partnered with the top Chinese painting and coding school:
JieShanHuaGuan which is opened by the Qi Baishi family, the most famous Chinese painter from the 1860s. Students will learn about the Four Treasures of the Study, various technique of Chinese painting focusing on flower, landscape and animals, and Chinese calligraphy and Chinese characters. Daily classes is from 9 to 12 noon.
Dash Coding School is the biggest and most innovating coding school across China. Students will learn about software and hardware, via various projects, selecting from Micro:bit, Scratch, Dash&Dot, Python etc. Daily classes are from 2 to 5:30 PM.
This weekday camp is opened to local students in China and exclusively to Mulberry House students. Intermediate and native Mandarin speakers recommended. Mulberry House teacher will supervise students during lunch time.

Shanghai 6 Day Camp (Aug 12-24)
Hosted by Tongji University, one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in China. Tongji University is especially renowned for its engineering, business and architecture programs; its civil engineering department has consistently ranked first in China for decades. This exciting camp includes:
Architecture Workshop (introduction to architecture, visiting The Bund and tallest building in China - Shanghai Tower, visiting Google Shanghai Office);
Designing Future Farm and Urban City (visiting the Natural History Museum, joining the “design harvest” ecosystem workshop, learning about how to design and promote sustainability and connections between farm and urban city).
Building Your Own Community (become a farm owner and create your own farm ecosystem, learning traditional techniques on making tofu, building community and have fun!)
This 6 to 12-day camp is opened to local students in China and exclusively to Mulberry House students. Parents can be students as well, and join their children in this camp. Intermediate and native Mandarin speakers recommended.
